Today is another snow day. That means stuck at home. With some very loud children.
Fortunately, I have a place to get away~ My chicken coop. Yes, my quiet time was in the coop, hanging out with my girls.
The highlight of my day was the laying of an egg.I also hung out with Pepper.
Yes, it was an exciting day. I know you are jealous.

Yes, I am jealous of you with your chickens. We had seven chickens. Six of them were eaten by raccoons that used their hands to pry the roof off of a chicken coop. Great photos.

No matter how many times I read it, it never gets old. You definitely hit the nail on the head on this one. This is something people need to know about.

You are right. I am jealous. We had seven chickens. One night neighborhood racoons pried the roof off of our chicken coop and ate six of the seven chickens. The last one was so lonely it would spend its days pecking on our patio door. We felt sorry for her so we gave her to a farm so she could have friends. We miss our chickens.
