It's been a quiet week around here.
Partly because I have been fighting a wicked head cold, and I'm just not feeling very social.
I also have been doing some crazy cleaning. I've been working hard, and I am pleased to say it is making a difference. More about that next week.
And the third reason I've been quiet on the computer front is because I couldn't access many websites. Pages kept on coming up blank, or pictures wouldn't load and everything was soooooo slow. I finally mentioned it to my husband this morning, and it turns out he had installed parental controls that were seriously limiting my web surfing abilities. Needless to say, those controls have now been removed.
With my surfing abilities restored, I discovered a new and incredibly addictive website this morning.
Wordle is awesome.
For those of you who haven't experienced it yet, you type in a bunch of words, and wordle arranges them in different configurations. You can go horizontal or vertical or all mixed up, and there are different fonts and colors... You can even type in url's, and it pulls word from websites. I tried it out with my blog, and boy, it looked like I've been pretty negative lately. Lots of not so positive words showed up.
The kids like it too. Gavin and Laura were very excited this morning telling me what to type in, and Laura exercised her beginning reading skills trying to read the words. It was quite fun. I am thinking this could make a wonderful framed print with the right words. Maybe even some nice Chirstmas gifts. It could be a lovely way to honor someone.
Speaking of framing. Does anyone know of a place to pick up nice frames and mats at reasonable prices?

Not sure about frames, I usually buy them all second hand and spray paint them. But mats I always get at Hobby Lobby. They are usually on sale, otherwise use their coupon. If you don't have one of those close, I would use a Michaels coupon and get them there. good luck! Love the Wordles!!
